Hello everybody!
It's fairly late but there's a good bit to catch up on. Soooo ... In the middle of December Lena, Sophie and I took a trip to Galway to see the Christmas markets there. It was a great weekend but the Christmas market was by far not as good as the one I had just seen in Cologne. And the weirdest part was that they had an Oktoberfest-tent playing music and serving Paulaner, so the atmosphere was a bit odd. Here are our impressions from that weekend.

| Entering Galway we were welcomed by the sight of a ferris wheel |
| There were lovely decorations and lights on the green spaces :) |
| The town itself was beautifully decorated with lights and in the dark it was like a million little stars ... |
| Of course there was food as well ... |
| It was very weird not to see Bratwürste on the BBQ ;) |
| And the Crêpes were good but not as good as the ones from home :D |
| Beautiful Galway on a sunny day! |
| A street artist in Killarney we saw on the way home :) |
